Martin Eden, a New Musical

This spring I had the pleasure of performing in the workshop reading of the new musical, MARTIN EDEN, by Gregory Nissen. The score of this musical is so rich and diverse with everything from operetta to ragtime style music. In addition to various roles in the ensemble, I performed the role of Dr. Hagwood.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Jack London's death MARTIN EDEN, a new musical with music and lyrics by W. Gregory Nissen was work-shopped this spring 2016 in NYC. A dramatic concert adaptation of the great American novel, Jack London's 1908 story of MARTIN EDEN concerns a young sailor who abandons the sea to transform himself into a literate, wealthy author and celebrity.
